JSB SUMMER AUDITIONS 2025

UMB2 Company Member (Ages 13+)

  • Pre-professional training in ballet, pointe, rehearsal/repertory, contemporary.
  • Performance opportunities in all UMB productions.
  • May be invited to compete in YAGP and ensemble competition.
  • International tour (Austria) 

Requirements:

  • Strong technical ability in ballet, pointe, contemporary
  • High motivation and dedication
  • Mandatory attendance for classes and rehearsals

UMB2 Apprentice & Trainee Levels

Apprentices (13+):
  • Train and rehearse with the company
  • Performance opportunities in UMB productions, YAGP opportunities

Trainees (12+):

  • Train 2x/ week with UMB2
  • Performance opportunities, YAGP opportunities
  • Preparation for advancement into UMB2

Requirements:

  • Possesses a strong work ethic and a natural talent for ballet, supported by a solid technical foundation in ballet, pointe and Contemporary.
  • Classes and rehearsals are mandatory.

Contemporary Company (Ages 12+)

We’re excited to introduce our newly revised Contemporary Company! This program is designed to develop dancers in a versatile style while maintaining a strong foundation in classical ballet.
 
Contemporary Company overview: (Age 12+)
  • Technique classes five days a week
  • Pointe classes twice a week
  • Four contemporary classes per week
  • Training Multiple genres designed to expand versatility and performance.
  • Ideal preparation for high school dance teams and collegiate dance programs.

Requirements:

  • Ages: 12 and up
  • Dance Level: Intermediate to advanced classical ballet
  • Experience: contemporary dance experience.
  • Qualities: Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for dance.
  • Schedule: Classes and rehearsals are mandatory

Audition will be held at the Lindon Studio 493 N 1030 W Lindon, Utah 84042
