7 Ballets in 7 Weeks
JSB students develop ballet technique in progression through each class level in a professional and consistent environment. The Children’s Workshop with 7 ballets in 7 weeks is designed to provide your child with fun and outstanding summer training from our attentive professional teachers, while learning about different classical ballets!
WEEK 1: June 9-13 : Don Quixote
WEEK 2: June 16-20 : Sleeping Beauty
WEEK 3: June 23-27 : La Fille Mal Gardee
WEEK 4: July 7-11 : Nutcracker
WEEK 5: July 14-18 : Le Corsaire
WEEK 6: July 21-23 : Snow White
WEEK 7: July 28 – August 1 : Giselle
Creative Division
Young dancers will explore movement through improvisation, basic ballet concepts, and principles of classical ballet to recreate the great story ballets. Each week these dancers will be visited by a special guest!

Student Division
Young dancers will be introduced to elementary ballet steps and progressively develop strength and correct body placement, both at the barre and in center. Stretching, coordination, strength building and musicality will be major components of this course.
