July 12 – 23

10 day intensive program designed for male and female dancers between ages 12 and 19 who would like to participate in learning solos, pas de deux and ensemble répertoire. This excellent opportunity is a must for those wishing to prepare for and compete at various ballet competitions.

Classical ballet variations and pas de deux’s will be taught from some of the most historical ballet repertoire. The Contemporary apportion will emphasis modern technique and explores movement through different dance forms in solo and ensemble pieces.


Johnny Zhong– Former Soloist With The National Ballet Of China, Guangzhou. Johnny Has Competed In Many International Ballet Competitions And Is Now A Master Teacher And Coach.
Sebastian Vinet– Former Dancer For Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet As Well As Being Invited To Perform In Prestigious Galas All Over The World. Sebastian Currently Was A Judge At The Prix De Lausanne Ballet Competition In Switzerland.
Irene Rodriguez– Is A Leading International Figure Of Spanish Dance And Choreography.She Has Worked As Dancer And Choreographer And Is A Consultant Of The Ballet De Nacional De Cuba.
Hanna Brictson– Former Professional Dancer With River North Dance Chicago And Visceral Dance Chicago. Hanna Is An Accomplished Choreographer And Two Time Princess Grace Award Nominee.


Daily classes of Ballet and Modern/Contemporary followed by classes of classical or contemporary repertoire.




All students get to participate in an exciting showcase at the end of the workshop.


Three weeks minimum participation in 2021 JSB Summer Intensive Workshop or equivalent out of state summer program.

Students who participate in the July Contemporary and Classical Intensives may be selected to represent Jacqueline’s School of Ballet at various competitions during the upcoming year.

*Required for place reservation in the Summer program. Deposit applies toward the total cost of tuition. Deposit is non-refundable.

An automatic charge will incur May 14th of any tuition balance to card on file.

If withdrawal from the Summer Program is necessary, a 75% refund may be given prior to May 15 after which no refunds will be given.

Visiting students need to audition for program placement, please provide the following in a video link:

• Barre work (only one sided)  Pliés, tendus, adagio, grand battements

• Center work
Pirouette combination with pirouettes en-dehors and en-dedans.  Adagio,
allegro combinations small jumps, medium size allegro, including assembles, jetés, grand allegro

Visiting student housing is offered from the families of our local students.

Housing fee rate:

$250 per week

$25 airport transportation (round trip)
