Ariel Wright

Ariel Wright began training at Jacqueline’s School of ballet at the age of six under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge, Heather Gray, and Brittnee Squires. She attended Regional Dance America/Pacific from the years 2005-2010 as an honor student. In 2010, she attended Atlanta Ballet’s summer intensive on full scholarship. She has also received awards at Youth America Grand Prix where she was placed in the Top Twelve in the contemporary division. Ariel is also an experienced choreographer with her works receiving awards at Youth America Grand Prix and Utah Metropolitan Ballet’s Choreography Design Competition, as well as being invited to be performed at Regional Dance America Festivals and at Young Tanzsommer in Europe. In 2009, she joined Utah Metropolitan Ballet, where she has performed choreography by Jacqueline Colledge, Heather Gray, Alan Hinleline, and George Balanchine. Ariel earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Ballet Emphasis, from Utah Valley University and is currently pursuing a second degree in Theatre Arts and Digital Cinema.
