Jeana Harmon

American fork, Utah

Jeana Harmon is a lifelong dancer, educator, and mentor whose journey began right here at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet. A proud third-generation “Caveman,” Jeana grew up immersed in the arts at American Fork High School (AFHS), where she was a Cavette, cheer/song leader, and student body officer. Today, her legacy continues through her five children, who represent the fourth generation of Cavemen.

After graduating from AFHS, Jeana went on to study Dance Education at Brigham Young University (BYU). During her time there, she performed as a Cougarette for one year and as a cheerleader for three, serving as head cheerleader in her senior year. She also worked as a counselor for the Especially for Youth (EFY) program, further nurturing her love for teaching and leadership.

Jeana’s accomplishments extend far beyond the classroom. In 1992, she represented her hometown as Miss American Fork in the Miss Utah Scholarship Pageant. She has taught dance camps nationwide with the Universal Dance Association and has shared her talents in musical theater, both as a performer and choreographer. For many years, she choreographed the production number for the Miss Utah Pageant.

For the past eight years, Jeana has been the head coach of the American Fork High School Cavettes, leading the team to the State Semi-Finals every year and advancing to the State Finals twice. She also serves as director of Showcase U.S.A. Vocal and Dance Co., continuing to inspire the next generation of dancers and performers.

With extensive training in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and voice, Jeana brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to every role she takes on. She is married to Corwin Harmon and is the proud mother of four boys and one daughter, who is currently a two-year Cavette letterman.

We are thrilled to welcome Jeana back to JSB, where she will be teaming up with Tami Ault, our Performing Arts Preschool Director. Together, they are bringing fresh energy, experience, and excitement to our Creative Movement and Preschool programs.
