Mallory Moon Wilson
LINDON, Utah
Mallory Moon Wilson is from Lindon, Utah. She received her training at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge, Brittnee Squires, and Heather Gray. She competed in Youth America Grand Prix in 2010 and 2012 where she placed in both contemporary and classical divisions. Mallory received scholarships to summer intensive programs at Ballet Arizona, Ballet West, and RDA National Choreography Intensive. In 2013, she became a trainee at Utah Metropolitan Ballet. Mallory joined Utah Metropolitan Ballet as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2014 and was promoted to principal in 2017. She toured Europe with UMB performing in the Young Tanzsommer Festival in Austria in the summer of 2015. She has performed soloist roles in Jacqueline Colledge’s Hinge, Brittnee Squires’ Passages, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Legend of Timpanogos. She premiered the title role in the world premiere of Jacqueline Colledge’s Snow White. Other principal roles include: Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Turning Girl in George Balanchine’s Who Cares? Coquette in Jacqueline Colledge’s La Coquette, Wendy in Peter Pan, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. Mallory has been teaching at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet for 10 years. She loves to watch her students progress and gain confidence through ballet.
