At Jacqueline’s School of Ballet, our Summer Intensive Program is designed to inspire, challenge, and strengthen dancers in a supportive and professional environment. This special program offers students the opportunity to refine their technique, expand their artistry, and continue their growth throughout the summer.
What to expect?
Jacqueline’s School of Ballet is excited to present our 2026 Summer Intensives – a transformative experience designed to inspire, challenge, and elevate dancers in a supportive and professional environment.
We are proud to offer the following workshops:
7 Ballet in 7 weeks
The Children’s Workshop at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet is a fun and enriching program designed for young dancers to build a strong foundation in ballet. Over the course of 7 weeks, students will explore 7 classical ballets, progressing in technique while gaining an appreciation for the artistry and storytelling of ballet.
The JSB Summer Intensive Workshop offers dancers the opportunity to explore a variety of dance styles while continuing to focus on the development of proper technique and core strength.
This fun and enriching program allows young dancers to work closely with the artistic staff and dancers of Utah Metropolitan Ballet, JSB faculty, and nationally acclaimed guest teachers. It’s a chance to be inspired, refine technique, and expand creativity in an encouraging environment.
The Contemporary and Classical Workshop at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet is a fantastic opportunity for male and female dancers ages 12 and older who wish to expand their skills in both classical ballet and modern/contemporary dance.
This intensive serves as excellent preparation for ballet competitions and provides a unique chance to work on both classical and contemporary repertoire. The program culminates in a performance showcase, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their artistry and growth.
Who can Join?
Our program welcomes dancers of various levels who are passionate about ballet and eager to grow. Placement will be based on age and ability to ensure every student is both challenged and encouraged.
